  1. The Stressor: Your brain perceives a threat (fasted 5:00 AM workouts, chronic under-fueling, or a toxic inbox).

  2. The Hypothalamus: The "Control Tower" releases CRH (Corticotropin-Releasing Hormone) to alert the system.
